We talk about the most recent release from Clear Creek, McCarthy's 6-year Oloroso-finished (released 5/31/23), and get into details on Garryana Oak, finishing casks, wood management, the recent history of Clear Creek distillery, and the distillers involved in creating this latest release. As usual, we couldn't help ourselves from going off on a few tangents and Joe was happily along for the ride.
